Stubborn

So my fellow commuters are shedding their studs (e.g., Snak Shak and VelociPete), but I remain firm I will not remove the Nokians until at least April.

Hmmph. So there.

But there is nothing wrong with perhaps riding a bike that doesn't have studs? I need to get some fenders for the new LHT and I'm set. I've been jonesing to ride it since I purchased it and now the time is right. But the threat of rain this week has me in search of fenders. So I'm studded until my fenders have been installed.

Wetbutt sucks.

It may be that we will be referring to you with something like The Wise One...the one with the studs.

I'm with you. My Nokians stay on until mid-April. I've felt a little silly riding around on them the last week with sunny skies and wet roads from snow melt. But I know as soon as I take them off....BAM...we get an ice storm or spring blizzard.

gotta agree with the wetbutt sucks comment!
YES IT DOES!!!!! looking for fenders for the Pug, but i'm to stubborn to drop $200 for some sweet Pug fenders, or to tell the truth...... i won't even ask the better 1/2 for those!!! LOL
i'll get the cheapos and modify them at work. all i'm really looking for it to stop the dreaded wetbutt!!!

Peace, Joboo

I rode without studs today. It was sweet.

Yup, I'm with you on the studs since I am totally paranoid about going down on an ice patch and don't really mind riding the studs anyway.

I told Pete he's ruining it for all of us...as bad as the groundhog, fer sure.

Keep those studs on, Brother Yam. If you are right, you'll need them, and if I am right, I'll enjoy the good weather that results from your stubborness
;-)

On another note, I have a bead on what might be a good option for Yoga For People Like Us. If you send me your email and contact info and I'll fill you in. My email address is jcr5301 at yahoo dot com

I've been ridding my LHT sans stud for a couple of weeks. (Did I just insult myself?)

I don't mind a bit of ice and am loving the wider streets.
